Team 51 Engine Statement


On Sunday 5th May at Skegness Raceway, BriSCA Micro F2 #51 Joelan Maynard, had his engine removed straight after his last race by Jason Holden (BriSCA Micro F2/ORCi Official), with Lee Johnson (BriSCA Micro F2 Official) and Rob Speak (Promoter) also in attendance. This was undertaken without prior notice to any other party apart from gaining approval of BriSCA F2.

The engine was removed completely and put into a sealed box, signed by those noted above, plus the parent of #51 and an independent parent Mr Fraser Mclellan (#874 Parent), and sent to 390 Dyno Services to be checked and dyno tested.

The car was fitted with the BriSCA Sealed Donor Engine, which was to be used the following day. As this formula is not about competitiveness and race wins, the results were the same as Cowdenbeath and Skegness on the same weekend, with the donor engine.

It can be confirmed that following the checks made, the engine is 100% legal and BriSCA F2 would like to thank Team 51 with their assistance during this process.
