20 September 2017 Update

In view of the Rejections received, the next positions via the Grading Points Chart were offered to: 41 Dennis Middler, 142 Jonathan Hadfield and 184 Aaron Vaight.

Congratulations go to 225 Tony Blackburn on winning
the World of Shale Championship to earn his invitation into the National Series.

In view of the Rejections received, the next positions via the Grading Points Chart were offered to: 652 Steve Forster and 581 Dan Fallows

13 September 2017 Update

Despite being confirmed as the winner of the
World Championship, H124 Wim Peeters is ineligible for the National Series, as he had failed to meet the minimum appearances (20 meetings by 20 August) requirement.

In view of the Rejections received, and the ineligibility of H124 Wim Peeters, the next positions via the Grading Points Chart were offered to: 618 Ben Lockwood, 127 Matt Stoneman, 700 Adam Rubery, 606 Andrew Palmer and 817 Tim Bailey.


20 August 2017 Update

On the 20 August cut-off date, 7 Gordon Moodie, 16 Craig Wallace and 38 Dave Polley were the top three drivers on the Grading Points Chart.  As they had each already qualified for the National Series, the three positions via the Grading Points Chart were offered to: 629 Euan Millar, 854 Robbie Dawson and 527 James Riggall.

Additonally, as 647 Chris Burgoyne had withdrawn from the National Series, and because 7 Gordon Moodie had qualified twice, two further places were offered via the Grading Points Chart, to: 101 Kelvyn Marshall and 560 Luke Wrench.

The meeting at Cowdenbeath on Sunday 20 August featured the F2 Nationals Championship.

Congratulations go to 38 David Polley on winning the F2 Nationals and thus becoming the latest driver to be invited to take part in the National Series

15 August 2017 Update

The meeting at Belle Vue on Tuesday 15 August was the last shale fixture before the cut-off date of 20 August.

Congratulations go to 226 Billy Webster and 905 Rob Mitchell on being the top two shale points scorers and thus becoming the latest drivers to be invited to take part in the National Series.

20 July 2017 Update

The meeting at Skegness on 20 July was the last of this year's World Championship qualifying rounds.

Congratulations to 488 Liam Bentham and 7 Gordon Moodie on topping the 2017 World Championship points chart, following the last qualifying round at Skegness on Thursday 20 July.

Liam has earned an invitation to take part in the 2017 National Series, whilst Gordon already has an invite to the series.  Therefore, 4th on the Grading Points Chart on 20 August will now receive an invitation.

 

16 July 2017 Update

The meeting at Northampton on 16 July featured the European Championship.

Congratulations go to 154 Michael Green on becoming the 2017 European Champion, and being the fifth driver to be invited to take part in the National Series.

 

25 June 2017 Update

The meeting at Bristol on 25 June featured the British Championship.

Congratulations go to 16 Craig Wallace on becoming the 2017 British Champion, and being the fourth driver to be invited to take part in the National Series.

 

21 May 2017 Update

The meeting at Taunton on 21 May featured the Benevolent Fund Trophy race.

Congratulations go to 7 Gordon Moodie on winning the Benevolent Fund Trophy, and being the third driver to be invited to take part in the National Series.

 

6 May 2017 Update

The meeting at Cowdenbeath on 6 May featured the Scottish Championship.

Congratulations go to 647 Chris Burgoyne on becoming the 2017 Scottish Champion, and being the second driver to be invited to take part in the National Series.


15 April 2017 Update

The meeting at Stoke on 15 April featured the English Open Championship and provided the first of the fifteen seeds for the inaugural National Series.

Congratulations go to 615 Josh Coleman who, on becoming the 2017 English Open Champion, is the first driver to be invited to take up a place in the National Series.
