2018 World Of Shale Series Update

There has been a slight change to the compostion of the 2018 Ford Wings World of Shale series.

The Kings Lynn fixture on Saturday 4 August 2018 will no longer be a qualifying round for the series.  Due to a lack of pit space, there will now be a restricted car entry for this fixture.  As this would undoubtedly exclude a large number of drivers who would be seeking a booking for what would have been the last qualifying round for this year’s World of Shale series, it is considered that the fairest course of action is for this meeting to no longer carry WoS qualifying round status.

As the Northampton date on 27 May was added as a WoS qualifying round, the series will still comprise 10 rounds.

The remaining rounds of the World of Shale series are therefore as follows:

Round 7        Sheffield       Sunday 10 June
Round 8        Mildenhall     Sunday 24 June
Round 9        Stoke            Saturday 30 June
Round 10      Mildenhall     Saturday 21 July

WoS Final     Stoke            Saturday 25 August
