BriSCA 50 Series
To commemorate 50 years of BriSCA F2 Stock Car racing in 2010, a special competition – the BriSCA 50 Series – will be contested, during the closing three months of the season.
The Top 50 drivers in the National Points Championship as at 20 September plus ten overseas drivers, will be invited to take part in the series. For the purpose of the BriSCA 50 Series, those drivers in that Top 60 group will start from Zero points in the competition. They can then attend as few or as many of the eleven BriSCA 50 Rounds as they choose.

The points scored by only those drivers in the Top 60 will be recorded in a separate table for the BriSCA 50 Series, throughout the 11 Rounds, ahead of the night of the Grand Final, at Birmingham on 20 November.
BriSCA 50 Series Grand Final – Birmingham – 20 November
At the conclusion of the eleven rounds, those same drivers in the Top 60 group are invited to attend the Grand Final night. All of those drivers will start the night with their point scores as at the end of round eleven. Each driver then races in three out of five heats, New Zealand style, closed grid with a front/middle back rotation. Those five heats carry DOUBLE points towards their BriSCA 50 Series tally.
After the five heats have been completed, only the Top 12 Point scorers in the series will progress to the 50 SERIES SHOOTOUT GRAND FINAL, with top scorer on pole position. 12 cars, 8 laps, first car home wins the BriSCA 50 Series.

To set the ‘50’ Series apart from other events the sponsorship costs have been set at a very reasonable price that should allow both businesses and individuals to become involved.
The Target is ‘50’ sponsors at £100 each.
