210 drivers raced in the second grading period of 2019, which contained 28 meetings. The average car attendance across the 27 mainland U.K. meetings was 29.67 and there were 52 different race winners. In total, 233 drivers have raced in the 2019 season to date.

The Best Attended Meetings for the Period were:-

Northampton 19 Apr – 56 cars, Taunton 18 May – 53 cars, Taunton 19 May – 51 cars, Bristol 21 Apr – 46 cars, Belle Vue 6 May – 42 cars.

2019 Novice Of The Year

The Novice of the Year is open to ‘genuine’ novices, i.e. those who are in their first BriSCA F2 season and who started the season with a white roof. The novice who has scored the most national points at the end of the season will be the winner of the Novice of the Year title.

The winner will be presented with the Novice of the Year trophy. The runner-up and the third place finisher will also receive trophies at that time.

David’s Observations

  • These grades will come into force on 1 June 2019. The next grading period of season 2019 will run from 21 May to 20 June inclusive.
  • In order to be eligible for downgrading on 1 July 2019, you must race a minimum of three times between 21 May and 20 June and also have raced at least once between 16 April and 20 May.
  • International drivers are shown on the grading list solely for information purposes. Their positions have no effect on grades. Points, appearances etc., are from meetings attended, that are on the National Fixture List.
