David’s Observations

·        These grades will come into force on 2 October 2017.  The next grading period is the last one of season 2017 and will run from 21 September to 12 November inclusive.

·        In order to be eligible for downgrading for the start of the 2018 season, you must race a minimum of three times between 21 September and 12 November and also have raced at least once between 21 August and 20 September.

·        Note that the fifteen drivers in the National Series will race from the superstar grade at all of the 11 National Series rounds but will revert to their substantive grades for all other meetings in this grading period.

·        Similarly, any driver who is graded as a superstar on this grading list but who is not one of the fifteen drivers in the National Series, will race from star grade at all of the 11 National Series rounds but will revert to superstar for all other meetings in this grading period.

·        International drivers are shown on the grading list solely for information purposes.  Their positions have no effect on grades.  Points, appearances etc., are from meetings attended, that are on the National Fixture List.
