Trackstar and BriSCA F2 were devastated at the very sad passing of 188 Aaron Patch at the back end of 2023.

Aaron was a larger than life character around the pits and a committed racer on track – particularly on his beloved shale tracks and he supported the vast majority of loose surfaced circuits in BriSCA F2.

King’s Lynn was one of Aaron’s favourite tracks and Trackstar are delighted to accommodate a request which the Patch family made to BriSCA F2 for King’s Lynn and the sport to remember Aaron with a memorial race.

The Aaron Patch Memorial will be on the Grand National at the opening meeting of the season at King’s Lynn on 2 March where Aaron’s brother Ash will be one of many to take the track to help remember Aaron with a full on action packed shale BriSCA F2 Stock Car race. Ash has also played a big part in organising this event to remember his brother.

As well as covering the cost for Ash to race on the day, BriSCA F2, in association with Entyre Supplies, are providing two Hi Fly tyres – one for the best white top in the race and one for the best yellow top in the race.

Trackstar will also put up £188 for the best white top in the race in memory of Aaron.

South west based promoters Autospeed have offered a hamper of Cornish goodies for the best white top in the race.

This race will not need any hype or persuasion to get drivers on track but Trackstar are looking for additional sponsors for the race to help us remember Aaron in style. Anyone interested in sponsoring the race should contact Paul Butler on 07939 580652 or by E Mailing pb@norfolkarena.co.uk

It is not just money what can be donated but prizes as well. Everything donated goes to the drivers and when donated the money / prize can either be donated to the general pot to be split or the person donating the money can decide how it will be paid.

Anyone donating a minimum of  £100 will get you an advert in the programme  and any one donating a minimum of  £250 will you get an advert in the programme and two admissions and anyone donating more than that will get a kiss from compere Matt Black thrown in as well!!
