2024 BriSCA F2 WORLD-OF-SHALE FINAL KING’S LYNN – Saturday 19th October
The World of Shale qualifying table, after the last qualifying round, is shown below.
Drivers in positions 1 – 20 are seeded direct to the World of Shale Championship Final and will grid in points order.
Drivers in positions 21 – 60 are eligible to race in the Last Chance qualifier, this will be the first race on the programme.
The first 6 finishers in the Last Chance race will qualify for the WoS Championship Final, giving a total of 26 drivers from the U.K. mainland.
If there are any non-starters among the drivers in the top 20 positions, additional places will be taken from the Last Chance race in order to maintain the total of U.K. drivers in the WoS Final at 26.
The grid will be augmented by any overseas drivers who have qualified – they will start on rows 3, 6, 9, 12 etc.
The defending World of Shale champion, 38 Dave Polley, also has the right to defend his title and, if he accepts the challenge, will start from the rear of the grid.
In addition to trophies for the top three placed drivers in the WoS Championship Final, there are trophies for the top three points scoring drivers in the table. There are also four grade award trophies. The grade award trophies are based on a driver’s start-of-season grade and the four grade award winners are shown in the table.
Bookings for the event will open on and from 9am on Monday 7th October and can be made by sending a Whatsapp message to 07939 580652 from this time.
Drivers will have until 12 noon on Wednesday 16th October to confirm their spot in either the World of Shale grid or for the Last Chance race. Anyone not booked in by this time will be removed from the grids. It would be useful if you are in the top 60 in the World of Shale points and will not be racing if you could please let us know so we can remove you from the grid.
Dutch drivers looking to race should contact Peter Schut to book in as usual. Overseas drivers will be gridded in the order of their position in the points. Any overseas drivers who are not Dutch but who would like to be considered for a spot should contact the same booking number as the UK drivers.
