2025 National Points Series for the Silver Roof

The 2025 BriSCA F2 National Points Series, for the right to wear the Silver Roof, will be contested over 40 rounds stretching across the entire season.

Having listened to feedback from drivers, officials, and fans, BriSCA F2 moves to a season-long championship in 2025; open to all drivers, but limited to just 40 qualifying meetings across the season. The 40-meeting series makes it much more accessible to the budgets of racers in the 21st century (especially their diesel budgets), while still requiring a level of dedication to win the coveted Silver Roof.

There are no special points, no gimmicks, no dropped scores, no opting in or out. The 2025 National Points Series is just a simple straight-up points-race to see who scores the most over the 40 meetings, where the winner will be rewarded with the Silver Roof and the title of BriSCA F2 2025 National Points Series Champion.

The series commences on 1st March at King’s Lynn’s traditional opening-day World Qualifying round, and runs across the country taking in World Qualifiers, Championships, and selected other meetings, to finish at Hednesford Hills Raceway’s Gala Championship meeting on 16th November.

In creating the series, BriSCA F2 has sought to…

  • ensure an even spread across the country with no one area favoured over another
  • ensure an even distribution across tracks with no one track staging more than 3 rounds
  • include championship events and qualifiers where the formula’s best are pitted against each other
  • avoid (where possible) multiple rounds over a weekend at different locations
  • avoid drivers feeling obligated to drive long distances between meetings on a weekend to chase points

Standard points will be scored as per the current BriSCA F2 regulations, and a separate National Points Series points-table will be compiled by the Official Grader. Grading points will continue to operate as they have done for many years, with all meetings counting towards the monthly grading chart and resultant movement of drivers up/down between grades.
