BriSCA F2 is pleased to announce a new incentive to be the top points-scorer at the completion of all World Championship Qualifying Rounds. Drivers in positions 3 to 56 in the final World Qualifying points-table will be allocated to Semi-Finals in the same way as has been done for many years… alternating between the two. Those drivers in odd-number positions in the points-table (3, 5, 7, etc.) will be allocated to Semi-Final #1, those in even-number positions (4, 6, 8, etc.) to Semi-Final #2... there's no change to this process.
However... the driver heading the final points table will now have the choice, once they see the two grids, of which Semi-Final they wish to take pole-position for. The driver in second place in the table will then be allocated pole-position in the other Semi-Final.
It is hoped that this change will add additional intrigue to the Semi-Final grid formation process, while also creating even greater competitive incentive for drivers to top the points-table at the end of the qualification rounds.
