Crimond Raceway and the BriSCA F2 Ben Fund would like to invite drivers to book in for the 2024 Ben Fund Championship meeting at Crimond Raceway on Saturday 3rd August.
This meeting supports the fund for drivers' benefit, should they become injured while racing, so we encourage drivers to please support the event as much as possible.

Qualification

• As per the BriSCA F2 regulations...
  • "The staging promotion shall publish in advance how many cars will take part in the race and set out to invite the highest graded drivers. The race will grid from the current Grading List in reverse order."
•  The promotion are aiming for a grid of 26 cars (maximum), with the remainder of the meeting format being determined by the number of drivers booking in.

Bookings

• Bookings can be made in any of the following ways:
  • Direct message to the Crimond Raceway Facebook page (open now)
  • Email to bookings@crimondraceway.co.uk (open now)
  • Commenting on the booking post on the raceway Facebook page (available from Monday 22nd July).
• Please book in as soon as possible to help the promotion plan the meeting format.

Prize Money

• Significant additional prize-money has been raised by the Ben Fund from sponsors, and will be apportioned as follows:
  • Winner - £600
  • 2nd place - £200
  • 3rd place - £50
  • Then £45, 40, 35, 25, 15, 10, 10 for 4th to 10th.
• This additional prize money is ON TOP OF the standard Tier 3 championship prize money of £100, 60, 45, 40, 35, 30, 20, 10, 5, 5 for the top ten, so the winner will actually walk away with £700 for their efforts, as well as the magnificent silver rosebowl trophy to look after for a year.
• Standard top-3 prize money will be paid in all other races.

Start Money

• Once again, and thanks to the sponsors, start money will be paid to all attendees, provided they have booked in by Thu 1st August.
• The amount of start money per driver will depend on the number of attendees.

Additional Awards

• Additional awards will be presented as follows:
  • Grade award plaques for the highest points-scorers across the White, Yellow, Blue and Red grades (all F2 races count).
  • £75 for each Grade Award winner courtesy of Crimond Track Shop and the Crimond Steward.
  • Commemorative awards will be given to all drivers who qualify-for/compete-in the Ben Fund Championship race.
  • The championship winner will receive a new wing courtesy of Ford Race Wings.
  • Three tyres will also be distributed, one each to 2nd, 3rd and 4th places in the championship race.
  • Crimond Raceway will continue their award of a tyre to the highest placed White or Yellow grade driver in the meeting final (as they do at all meetings).

Meeting Timetable

• Note: there is NO overnight camping permitted within the track/pits/car-park. Please do not try to do so as this could create problems with the land-owner.
• Friday 2nd August
  • 12pm to 8pm - Paid practice, £20 per car
  • Pits / track / car-park MUST be vacated after practice
• Saturday 3rd August
  • Strictly NO arrival before 9:30am
  • 10am - Pit gate opens
  • 1pm to 2:30pm - Paid practice, all formulas, £10 per car
  • 2:30pm to 3pm - Free practice for F2s only
  • 4pm - Meeting starts

Cowdenbeath - Sunday 4th August

• The Racewall will be running the "Spanner Trophy" the following day, Sunday 4th August, when mechanics get the chance to show their driver how its done while raising money for the Ben Fund.
